Common Questions About Non-dual Philosophy

It’s not about blaming yourself for what happens…it’s about empowering yourself to change it. – Debra Maldonado

If you want to become a life coach and wonder how you can help others, listen to our recent Soul Sessions podcast episode to explore how our unique Jungian coaching model is the future of coaching.

Making Sense of The World

Have you ever wondered why bad things happen to you or in the world in general?

You may be trying to make sense of the world by asking yourself deeper questions.

We’ve been coaching for a few decades and have led classes in person and online with thousands of people.

What we notice when we talk about the power you have within to create your life, we get the “what about” questions.

It is natural for you to push back that you have the power inside to change.

The most extreme examples are tossed to us with “what about… war, illness, evil, trauma and bad people in order” to challenge the fixed beliefs that we are powerless to what happens to us.

You may have contemplated these questions:

Why do bad things happen?

Did I create negative results or “attract” bad things that happened to me in my life?

What is my purpose if everything is just an illusion?

On one hand, we want to believe we have the power to create changes in our life, and we have an inner conflict with that responsibility!

If you wondered about these ideas, you will love our next podcast episode as we continue our series on non-dual consciousness.

Wisdom Exercise:

Sit in a quiet place without distractions and ask yourself

“What if I was one with everything?”

Watch how your mind resists but also what is possible.

Tune in to this week’s podcast to discover how non-dual philosophy answers these deep, profound questions. In this week’s podcast, Soul Sessions: A Jungian Coaching Podcast, Why is there suffering? Answers to Life’s Big Questions, we discuss:

  • The three foundational principles of non-dual philosophy and how they apply to daily life
  • Why bad things happen to individuals and the world at large from the lens of consciousness, ego, and Maya

  • Finding personal and universal purpose: the role of creation, individuation, and the power of inner work
