Whether we admit it or not, we all feel anger. As one of the primal emotions it is a protector, but can also turn into self-sabotage or resentment.
While many would say anger is a “negative” emotion or possibly even toxic, we see anger as fuel.
If you never get angry, are you always submitting your power to others? Do you have a difficult time keeping boundaries?
Some signs of anger suppression are anxiety, stress and even depression.
We cannot get rid of it. We have to deal with it.
Sometimes anger leaks out as frustration, complaining or resentment. If you can recognize this in yourself, a good self-coaching question to ask is:
Where am I not expressing my power?
Another word for anger is “unexpressed passion,” a sacred flame that needs to be explored and honored to live your full potential in life.
