New name! JUNG ON PURPOSE
First, before we get into today’s topic, we want to share some exciting news. Our podcast, previously named Soul Sessions, has now officially changed to our new name, JUNG ON PURPOSE.
We will still provide the same, deep content but we felt that purpose is really the main thing we do at CreativeMind. We help others step into more meaning and purpose. Our unique coaching methodology which we now call, NeuroMyndra™ (pronounced NUHRO-MEHN-DRA), a unique blend of Neuroscience, Jung’s Psychology and Eastern Spirituality. Neuro(brain) – Mynd (Psychology) and Yndra (a reference to eastern spirituality Indra’s Net).
If you want to become a life coach and wonder how you can help others, listen to our recent JUNG ON PURPOSE podcast episode (previously named Soul Sessions) to explore how our unique Jungian coaching model is the future of coaching.
A quote from Marie-Louise von Franz, a close collaborator of Carl Jung says, “When the Self takes the lead, life begins to arrange itself around a new center. One no longer asks, “What do I want from life?” but “What is life asking of me?” This shift is the birth of purpose.”
She is referring to the Self (big S), not the ego personality. The first part of life is building up the ego and getting things from the world, love, material support and acknowledgment, but when someone enters the process of Individuation, their priorities shift, their inner power increases and the perspective of who they are is dramatically changed.
We invite you to ask that question, “What does life ask of me?” and tune into our Premier Episode of JUNG ON PURPOSE, “Discovering Purpose: A Jungian Coaching Journey” where we explore the journey of self-discovery and purpose. We discuss the stages of life, the concept of individuation, and how to find meaning and fulfillment beyond societal expectations.
Here are some other highlights of this episode:
- Understand the journey of finding one’s true purpose through self-discovery, emphasizing the importance of understanding who we really are beyond societal roles and expectations.
- Explore the Jungian process of Individuation, becoming one’s true self, which involves moving beyond the ego and societal conditioning to embrace one’s deeper identity.
- How life’s meaning and purpose evolve through different stages, with a particular emphasis on midlife as a pivotal opportunity for transformation and introspection.
- How suffering and challenges can lead to personal growth and deeper understanding, viewing them as opportunities rather than mere obstacles.
- Neuroscience of the brain, the mind, perception and achieving fulfillment.
