In this episode of JUNG ON PURPOSE, Debra and Dr. Rob Maldonado explore the concept of the Imago in relationships, discussing how unconscious patterns and archetypes influence our interactions. Understand the dynamics of projection, the role of the ego and the importance of realizing one’s own Imago to improve personal and relational growth. The discussion highlights the transformative power of accessing the collective unconscious and the archetypes within it.

If you want to become a life coach and wonder how you can help others, listen to our recent JUNG ON PURPOSE podcast episode (previously named Soul Sessions) to explore how our unique Jungian coaching model is the future of coaching.

You aren’t a stranger to personal growth.

You may have been drawn to inner work because something wasn’t working in your life.

One of the biggest challenges is that most people try to fix their life by changing their mindset from the ego perspective. The ego is the rational, conscious part of our mind that organizes and interprets our experiences.

The ego can help you shift your conscious mind to think more positively about your goals and even drive you to take lots of action toward that achievement, but there are a few things that limit you with an ego-driven approach…

  • The ego believes the answer to lasting happiness, security and worthiness is outside of you
  • The ego believes that the things you want are dependent upon factors outside of its control
  • The ego is driven by the senses, not possibility

The ego-driven approach leads to attachment to outcomes. You feel great when things go well and depressed when things go south. You end up feeling powerless to drive your ultimate fate.

The ego-trap that keeps most people stuck. They are not creating their life from the inner power but from a sense of lack or deficit. This leads to exhaustion and frustration in constant action, grasping for results and feeling bad about yourself for “doing it wrong” when things don’t pan out for you.

How do you escape this ego trap?

You have to practice manifesting from a different, higher perspective than the ego and that is non-attachment. Non-attachment releases your mind from ego-driven desires.

The grasping, the fear, the doubt stops. You reclaim your inner power instead of projecting it outward.

Attachment doesn’t mean you do not care about results. Actually, non-attachment is the only way you can truly enjoy the results.

One simple way to practice non-attachment is dedicating your results to your spiritual growth, instead of being emotionally-bound to them as a way to feel better about yourself.

You will still get results. You either get something you want or you use the results for your own growth. Everything result is a win!

In this episode of Jung On Purpose, Jungian Insights on Manifestation: From Ego to Self-Realization, we explore the concept of manifestation and the neuroscience behind how our brains create reality.

We discuss the role of the ego in shaping our desires and the importance of shifting from ego-driven goals to a witness mind perspective. The conversation emphasizes the power of non-attachment and the practice of self-awareness in achieving true fulfillment and self-realization.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • How brain is a simulation machine that creates our reality
  • Why the Ego often misleads us into believing that external possessions will bring happiness
  • How true fulfillment comes from shifting to a witness-mind perspective, focusing on self-awareness
  • Why non-attachment to outcomes allows for more authentic and powerful creation
